FAQs

Why Panrimo?

Panrimo is an organization offering overseas study, volunteer, and research opportunities for all college students. Panrimo focuses on affordable and customized programs that allow students of all majors and concentrations to receive academic credit for their classes and/or volunteer and research services abroad.

Panrimo has customized programs, offering students a more personalized and affordable opportunity. With a base program that includes tuition, advising, and 24/7 emergency support with a Panrimo coordinator overseas, some students wish for nothing more than these essentials. But for those in need of housing, airport pickup, cultural tours and more, we offer these options a la carte at practically at-cost prices.

Students’ mindsets are changing. What was once a one-size-fits-all approach is no longer acceptable with today’s youth. Students personalize their iPod music, their Facebook and MySpace websites. Even new college majors are being invented to accommodate this new customization demand. And Panrimo follows suit with customize study abroad programs.

We offer customized programs giving students choices, both in services and price. Students now have the option of where to go abroad, in what to study, and still have the opportunity to select the “extras” they may need abroad. This is the Panrimo Difference.

What can Panrimo do for you?

Increasing the number of American college students studying abroad is our goal. And communicating with you and your staff for proper credit transfer, approval of programs, and that necessary safety measures are adequate means to that goal.

Working with your international office, our directors in Michigan accept well-rounded, culturally curious, academically motivated students to study abroad. Our staff helps prepare each student for life abroad, enrolling them without hassle all while communicating with your office. Transparency is our goal with you, and ensuring open communication, start to finish.

What type of students does Panrimo recruit to study abroad?

What American universities does Panrimo visit?

Being based in Michigan, Panrimo attends college campus events and study abroad fairs-often speaking with over 25,000 students a term-throughout Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Its founders were born and raised in this region of the United States, and having attended university here positions Panrimo to garner relations in these states. We know the people, and they know us. Of course, any student of any part of the United States can find out and apply for a Panrimo program on www.panrimo.com.

Does your organization partake in any promotional activities?

One of the many aspects that makes Panrimo different is its public relations and marketing campaigns on college campuses. Generally after the U.S. university’s study abroad office grants approval, Panrimo’s experienced public relations and marketing director communicates with student organizations, on-campus housing, and a variety of faculty to allow Panrimo representatives on campus to speak directly with students.

Partnering with the U.S. university’s study abroad office and campus activities board allows Panrimo to speak with students whose interest line up with the classes offered by our partner institution. We do everything in our power, and with consent of each U.S. institution, to speak as often as possible with the students. We attend on-campus study abroad fairs, art shows, medical student trades shows, evening dormitory events, etc.

Again, Panrimo staff and executives emphasize an open communication and a thorough response via phone, email, or in person with your office. That is our desire with you.
