Program Cancellation
If student’s Panrimo Program is canceled by Panrimo for reasons outside of the student’s control, the student receives all funds paid to Panrimo at time of cancellation.
Payment Methods
Panrimo accepts the following forms of payment for your Panrimo Program: Money order, cashiers check, credit card, PayPal, approved aid of college or financial institution, family or friend support, and outside grants and scholarships.
The safest, most secure, and fastest way to pay is with PayPal. Paying by credit card online for a Panrimo Program uses this service. There is no processing fee for paying with credit card.
*If paying remaining balance by credit card, payee is subject to a 4% service charge of remaining balance. This is reflected in participant’s invoice.*
Outstanding Balances
Balances not paid by invoiced and/or Program Payment Due Date, or if a financial aid form detailing loan or grant disbursement is not received by Panrimo at or before these times, student will incur a $250 late fee. The student may be held responsible for any costs incurred by Panrimo, too, while working on behalf of the student.
Arrival Guidelines
Airfare costs and means of transportation to the host city is up to the student. Airport pick-up and drop-off at host city’s airport by a Panrimo coordinator of host university staff member is an optional service for all programs. Please review when to arrive at the host city airport if using Panrimo airport pickup.
-If this option is not chosen, the student is responsible for his/her own transportation to accommodations.
-If the Panrimo airport pick-up option is chosen, but the student selects a flight arriving outside the designated time table given by Panrimo (this does not pertain to flight delays), a charge $75 will be added to the airport pick-up option.
-If the Panrimo airport drop-off option is chosen, but the student selects a flight departing outside the designated time table given by Panrimo (this does not pertain to flight delays), a charge $75 will be added to the airport drop-off option.
Housing Policies
Housing offered by Panrimo is an optional service. Housing in host country is decided by Panrimo and/or host university. The main is safety, followed by cleanliness, location to host university, and cost, among other aspects. Housing placement is contingent on full payment of program invoice and agreement of housing rules. Some accommodations require deposit in case of damage, returned to the student after review of accommodations at the end of the program.
Students may change housing after placement as been made, either before or after arrival, for a fee. All students are required to vacate housing no later than 12 PM, host country time, on the last day of the program. Student who do not vacate on or before then will be assessed a daily fee by Panrimo or host university.
Rules and regulations vary on host country and housing provider, and students must adhere to these rules and regulations. All students must sign a housing contract on or before arriving to accommodations abroad. The contract includes, but is not limited to, conduct and behavior rules, curfew times if applicable, admitting guests in, security, damages, and utility charges if applicable. If damage is found after students vacate, the student forfeits the housing deposit. Panrimo staff will not assist students in finding independent housing outside of Panrimo’s offerings at any time. Extensive damage to accommodations may result in immediate dismissal of Panrimo Program, and all payments will be forfeited.
Panrimo may require a housing deposit before you depart or are officially accepted into your Panrimo Program.
Passport and Visa
A valid passport is required for travel on all Panrimo Programs. Often stays over 90 days in host countries require a visa. If this is the case, a visa is required by Panrimo in order to go abroad. Assistance in applying for a visa is offered by Panrimo. Once abroad it is recommended students carry with them at all times a copy of their passport and visa (if applicable).
Panrimo and Host University-sponsored Activities
A customized option for many Panrimo Programs is cultural activities and field trips. These events vary by term and location. Students may be responsible for meals during these events, and possibly entrance to buildings. No reimbursement for these items is allowed. It is expected that, during Panrimo-sponsored event, the Panrimo Coordinator will lead students during this time. It is the student’s responsibility to stay with the Panrimo Coordinator at all times, unless “free time” is permitted. If a student does not arrive on times or misses transportation on one of these activities or excursions, the student forfeits any reimbursement for such activity or excursion.
