Personalized Study & Intern Abroad Programs. Where are you going?

Panrimo offers excursions you can add on to your program. They are a great way to see more of the country, culture and people without having to worry about logistics. All excursions are unique to Panrimo because we use personal contacts and friends abroad--you won't find these elsewhere.

Melnik: Skip town and see its greener side. Tour 11^th century Melnik Castle, built in 1050 A.D. for a bohemian queen. Eat lunch on the patio overlooking rolling hills. Creep down to the wine cellar and taste what Winston Churchill said was “the best wine from Eastern Europe.” Round trip transportation from Prague, lunch, castle tour and wine tasting and your Panrimo coordinator are included in this day excursion.

Kutna Hora: This former silver mining town today is known for its Gothic architecture and skulls. Yes, human skulls. Kutna Hora’s Sedlec Ossuary, a small chapel, contains 70,000 skulls artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel. Visit to find out why. We’ll see the town’s sights, have lunch in a café, tour the city and visit good museums. Round trip transportation from Prague, lunch, entrance fees and your Panrimo coordinator are included.

Castle and Brewery Tour: 2 towns, one castle, one brewery and an unmatched train trek out West. Tour Karlstejn Castle where, during the Bohemian War of 1422, warriors catapulted plaque-infested bodies from the castle walls. 60 miles further we’ll visit Plzen and its brewery, touring, tasting and understanding this WWII significant city and its hops. Round trip transportation from Prague, castle and brewery entrance fees, lunch and your Panrimo coordinators are included.

Bohemia National Park: Outdoor enthusiast at heart? Know you’ll need an escape from city bustling? Be one with nature and follow the Elbe River, hike the dark forest and straddle the German/Czech border. Drink from what some call the spring of eternal youth: if ladies drink it they’ll get younger by two years; men who drink will live until the end of their life. Round trip transportation from Prague, inter-park taxi service, onsite hotel accommodations, all meals, rock climbing and Panrimo coordinator are included in this three day, two night excursion. Experience this magical forest unlike anything you'll see in a city. This excursion, often enjoyed with parents, occurs immediately before or after classes or internship abroad.
