Excursions
Panrimo offers excursions you can add on to your program. They are a great way to see more of the country, culture and people without having to worry about logistics. All excursions are unique to Panrimo because we use personal contacts and friends abroad--you won't find these elsewhere.
Weekend Out West: Head west to fertile flat lands. Relax in a town of 2900 people; eat asado BBQs, grilled vegetables and tons of flan till you burst. Ride horseback and understand gaucho lifestyle. Roundtrip ground transportation to la pampa region, all meals and asados, lodging with local family, poolside relaxation, impromptu town festivals and your Panrimo coordinator are included on this full three day, two night excursion.
Night of Tango: The best way to understand the seductive nature of Argentines is to watch their bodies move. A night of entertainment and a full stomach await. While feasting on local cuisine, take in a live band and tango dancers displaying the porteño passion. Reservations, dinner, live tango show in authentic venue and your Panrimo coordinator are included.
Blast to the Past- Uruguay: Think you’ll need an escape from the bustle and zoom of city life? Being conquered 11 times by other countries, it’s surprising that this town is so docile and laidback. Cross the waterways and be in another country in two hours: Uruguay. Hop on a golf cart and scoot around town, traversing cobblestone streets and sandy beaches, popping into museums and lighthouses. Round trip boat transportation from Buenos Aires, lunch, museum entrances and your Panrimo coordinator are included on this full day getaway.
Bike and Taste the Andes Mountains: Any country can grow grapes by a mountain. But only Argentina can grow them on the east side of the snow-capped Andes. Come tour the vineyards, bicycling through mountain valleys and the city of Mendoza. Enjoy wine tastings, later feasting on gelato made from black olives and lemon verbena popsicles just for starters. This five day, four night tasting feast includes round trip airfare from Buenos Aires, accommodations, most meals, vineyard tours and tastings, a cooking class, bicycle rentals and your Panrimo coordinator.
