Panrimo offers customized programs giving students choices, both in service and price. Students now have the option of where to go abroad and in what to study, and still have the opportunity to choose the “extras” they may need—like airport pick-up, housing, excursions, health insurance, etc. This is the Panrimo Difference.

You create your program. We give you a base package that includes your desired internship, our pre-departure advising and a staff member abroad to welcome and assist you when needed. Then you choose from a list of customized options want more you want to add. Your program ends up being a unique, personalized one. Oh, and since you build your program, you choose the price!

Belize City

Though not the capital any longer, Belize City (pop. 71,000) is the cultural and business hub of the country, and has been for centuries. In the 1600s the port was used by pirates as a hideout and regrouping location. Belize City now stands as a vast–yet completely walkable–bustling city and trade destination of Middle America.

  • City-sponsored (free!) dance and acting performances can be attended nightly.
  • Bars and nightclubs attract visitors and locals alike are frequented Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays throughout the downtown.

Belmopan

Located an hour’s drive west of Belize City, Belmopan (pop. 17,000) is the capital of Belize. A calm place with a “get to know your neighbor” attitude, Belmopan is called home many government officials making it a great place for internships for Middle and South American government studies majors.

  • Stroll through Market Square and taste vendors’ fresh tropical fruits and tasty tamales.
  • Travel Hummingbird Highway, taking you through Belmopan upward to the Mayan Mountains.
  • Pack a sandwich and go with friends for a jump in the Blue Hole, an underground river emerging in a deep cave before dropping back again underground.
